Hannah's Story

Once upon a time there was a city with lots types of candy. The city was called Candy Land.

One person said, "Hi. How are you doing today."

"Fine," said the other person.

"Where are you going today?"

"I am going to the mall."

"Cool," said Sam.

Sam wondered, "HOw are you going to travel there and here comes Nathan and Andrew, Nathan's brother."

"Hi Nathan."

"Hi Hannah. How are you doing today?"

"Good. Are you going to the zoo?"

"Yes. How did you know?"

"I have ear sense."

"Cool.  How did you get your sense?"

"I got it from magic."

"Cool.  Now what are you going to do?"

"I am going to space."

"Uh. I don't think that is a good idea."

"Sure it is.  I think I will get a moon rock."

"Ok."

Beep
Beep
"Ahhhhh! Aliens go away!"

Hannah's version of Fancy Nancy

I love being fancy. My favorite is fushcia. That's fancy word for purple.

Hannah's Story

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Hannah and she had super powers. He powers were tornado, fire, sparkle, and lightning. Her best friend, Madelynn had super powers too. She had the same powers as Hannah. Tornado shot tornadoes. Fire burned stuff. Sparkle made things sparkly and lightning made lightning.

Hannah and Madelynn ran around the playground using their super powers. They used their super powers against the evil boys. Kolby was the most wicked boy of all the playground. He had all the powers. He had ice, fire, tornado, lightning. He didn't have sparkle because it was girly girl. The girls used their powers on kids in the playground that were running.

When they went inside, Madelynn's mom came.

1st Day of School

On Wednesday my Hannah Banana went to her very first day of Kindergarten. She loves it! The funny thing was when she got home that first day, I swear she grew up a year or two. She immediately convinced her brother to teach her how to read.

He obliged by helping her read an alphabet book. She's a funny girl.

She also spontaneously has decided she would like to change her name to Princes.

Watchin for diabetes

Because my oldest son is diabetic, we watch our kids carefully to try and catch it earlier. Hannah was sleepwalking the other night (which Nathan had been doing a little before his diagnosis) so my husband tested her and she was a little high.

I had to bribe her to test the next day and she was normal (on the high end of normal, but normal).

We'll be watching her closely...I'm sure.

Shoes

Ever realize your child is just like you. Today as my Hannah Banana whined in the back seat if she could take her shoes off and I told her she could, I realized she's going to be quite a bit like me.

The last 2 weeks I haven't been able to keep shoes on that girl! Walking barefoot everywhere she can. Riding her bike barefoot, playing outside barefoot.

Reminded me of me. When I was her, I didn't wear shoes all summer. Have a feeling our similarities someday will cause huge fights. I guess only time will tell!
